"Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water…" Jeremiah 17: 7 – 8

Flourishing Together in Faith & Community

At SFC, our Women’s Ministry is a welcoming space where women of all ages and stages of life can come together. Our vision is to inspire and uplift one another, encouraging every woman to grow in her faith and flourish in God’s good design and purpose for her life. Whether you are navigating a busy work schedule, running a household, or anywhere in between, you’ll find a warm circle of sisters ready to walk alongside you.

What Can You Expect?

We gather regularly throughout the year for a mix of spiritual encouragement, shared learning, and fun social connection. Our gatherings are designed to be a restful pause from the busyness of daily routines—a place where you can be refreshed, supported, and reminded of God's grace in everyday life.

Special Events & Gatherings

In addition to our regular meetings, we host a variety of special events throughout the year aimed at deepening relationships and making lasting memories:

  • Ladies’ Night Dinners: Relaxed evenings out to enjoy great food, warm conversation, and laughter together.
  • Breakfast & Brunch Gatherings: Hearty morning meals paired with brief, encouraging devotionals to kickstart your day.
  • Creative Workshops & Floral Parties: Fun, hands-on events—like flower arranging—where you can learn a new skill while building genuine friendships.

How Can I Get Involved?

Whether you are brand new to the church or have been attending for years, there is a seat at the table for you. Keep an eye on our events calendar or contact us to learn about our upcoming women’s gatherings. Come as you are—we would love to welcome you!

Planning your Visit

New to Church?

stirling

Well, welcome! If you are new to church, new to Stirling, or thinking about coming to Stirling Free Church for the first time, we are glad you are here.

We know that visiting a church for the first time can feel like a big step. You might not know what to expect, what to wear, where to go, or whether you will fit in. Please be assured that you do not need to have everything worked out before you come.

Stirling Free Church is a gospel-centred, Bible-believing church where people of different ages, backgrounds and nationalities meet together to worship and serve God.

When and Where We Meet

Our Sunday morning service is at:

Time: 10:30am
Venue: Cambusbarron Community Centre

No need to book or let us know in advance if you want to attend. Just come along. Someone will be there to welcome you and help you find your way in!

What Happens in a Service?

Our Sunday service is a time to worship God together, hear from the Bible, pray, and encourage one another.

A normal service will usually include singing, Bible readings, prayer and a sermon where a passage from the Bible is explained and applied to everyday life.

You will not be put on the spot or asked to do anything you are uncomfortable with. You are welcome simply to come, listen and take things at your own pace.

What Should I Wear?

There is no dress code. Some people dress smartly, others come more casually. Please come in whatever you feel comfortable wearing.

Do I Need to Know Anything Before I Come?

Don't worry, you do not need to know the songs, understand church traditions, or have been to a service before.

If anything is unfamiliar, that is completely fine. We are glad to welcome people who are exploring Christianity, returning to church, or simply curious about faith.

Our services usually last no longer than 1 hour with refreshments afterwards.

Children and Young People

Children and young people are very welcome at Stirling Free Church.

During term time, Crèche, Sunday School and Bible Class are available for those who would like to attend. If you are visiting with children, someone will be happy to explain what is available and where to go.

Students, Visitors and Newcomers

Stirling is home to people from many places, including students and international visitors. We are glad to welcome people from different nations, backgrounds and stages of life.

Whether you are in Stirling for a short time or looking for a church family, we would love to meet you.

After the Service

After the service, there is usually tea/coffee and time to chat and get to know people. Please do stay if you can.

We know it can feel daunting to walk into a new place, so our hope is that you will find a warm welcome and a friendly church family.

Come and Join Us

Whether you are already a Christian, exploring faith, or just wondering what church is like, you are welcome at Stirling Free Church.
